Why Mistress?
I believe that at some point in our lives, we all play the role of a mistress. There are those who knowingly walk in that direction in hopes of changing a situation; then there are those who had no idea at the time that what they were getting into would lead to what it is, but it did.
Either way, we both ended up in the same place. How do you get out of it though? The first step is to figure out which one you started off as.
If you knowingly chose that path then guess what, you can knowingly choose to not take that path again. Sounds simple, but it isn’t- hence miss mistress.
If you had no idea and suddenly woke up and said, “Where am I? What am I doing here?” you now have to retrace your steps and try to figure out what was the pattern in your lifestyle choices that led you there. This certainly isn’t easy because it forces you to face the truth about yourself but, that’s where miss mistress comes in.
So sit back and feel free to remove the false representation of you that you’ve been wearing all day, and let’s have a conversation.

I just read a few of your entries, and was absolutely captivated! I may not have any specific comments for any of your posts, but I can guarantee that I’ll be back to read more. Thanks for your insights!

Thanks! The stories are all intended to help us as women check ourselves. It’s funny how when we read our stories we see things differently. My goal is to offer another perspective. No judging, just helping.

I used to judge these women…till it happened to me. Just a lesson I guess never to judge anyone. Going to be following you! Good luck girl!
